The Health of Your Dog Matters

That’s why we do genetic testing

If you want a healthy dog the only way to make sure as a responsible breeder is to get our dogs genetic tested. Yes selective breeding has been done for many many years with great success. However back then they went off of the physical expression of traits and bred based on those outcomes. Keep in mind what is expressed is only a fraction of what's going on behind the scenes. With genetic testing being used as a assisting tool this can equip breeders with more information to go off of when conducting pairings. Genetic testing helps us see a much bigger picture to give you a healthy puppy. I also take great attention to the diet of my Corsos I feed a combination of a raw with kibble, wet canned food, and lots of supplements that are made for my fur babies daily. They have access to food at all times. This may be the opposite of what you have been told to do. Likely you have been told that it will lead to overweight dogs and conditions. Well that is true if a Cane Corso can not run and be active most of the time. Due to my feeding protocol I do not miss out on growth and we do not see nutrient deficiencies. We constantly are attempting to improve our process to give families a better guardian. Health is a huge consideration for me. As it is my hope to give you a love one that can outlive dogs you may get from other kennels. We’re committed to the responsible breeding of loyal, healthy loving dogs that form deep bonds with their humans and make the best guardians. I challenge you to come out and see us and put these words to the test! I look forward to hearing from yall soon!

we prioritize the health of our dogs?

At Warriors of Valhalla Cane Corso Kennels, our goal is always to breed healthy animals that will fit well into any loving family. To accomplish this goal, we:

  • Undergo Genetic testing
  • Have constant Socialization/Exposure and training for our dogs
  • Raise Cane Corso's right along side my 6 young children.

Our Cane Corso health screenings are essential to guarantee the health of our animals. Additionally, we do Cane Corso genetic testing before breeding to make sure we don’t perpetuate any hereditary diseases.
